Royalist Cup 6 was played on sunday 22nd july at meadowcroft.  The weather was very hot and sunny, and both teams did really well in those conditions as there were a limited number of subsitutes to use.

The Gold Cavaliers ran out the winners as they beat the Scarlet Cavaliers by the score of 10-4 . The half time score had been 8-1 to the Golds,  so great credit to the Scarlet Cav`s for not giving up and winning the 2nd half.

Special mentions to Jordan Rice who got 2 goals and ran all day on his cavalier debut, James Chapman for his hat trick, Craig Fraser and Marc Bassinder for getting a brace each, and also Raimond Lee-Long who also got 2 goals – one of which was from the tightest of angles into the top corner of the net ! .  Paul Baldwin for kindly stepping in and playing in goal at the very last minute,  and the return of one of the Original Cavaliers Marvin Rice.
