The Cavaliers beat World Vision f.c. on sunday by the score of 8-2, the game was a bit tighter than the scoreline suggests and was played in a good spirit by both sides. The 2nd half was cut short to 30 minutes – as the first half came to a premature end on 38 minutes with a serious head wound to a World Vision player who needed hospital treatment. The player was allowed home the same evening after stitches and will be okay. Conor Bignell of the Cavaliers, also left the pitch in the first half due to a facial injury which was very swollen and he was unable to return to the game. Cavalier goalscorers were Marc Bassinder (3), Raimond Lee-Long (2), Jordan Castello, Craig Fraser, and Joe Pickwick.
